Remove revolution slider from your site, or get hacked.

Revolution slider is a popular wordpress plugin. A slider does funky things on your home page with images and text and slides them around – hence the name.

I hate the revolution slider as it super slow anyway.

Revolution slider is a premium plugin, and should be paid for. Some wordpress developers slip it onto your site for ‘free’. Only problem given that its illegally copied, it doesn’t get updates.

So given the revolution slider is super popular, super complex, and doesn’t get updates, and there are loads of wordpress websites – hackers thought , wow – that’s sounds a lovely target.

Then BANG everyone using revolution slider got hacked.  100,000 wordpress websites hacked (probably loads more by now).

You have 2 choices:

• change your slider to something else
• or pay for the slider, I think USD$50
